About Me!
Persephone Huffman is a true multimedia artist, specializing in illustration, sculpture, graphic design, social media, video game development, marketing, and so much more. Over the last four years, they have worn many hats, and worn them well. From founding an independent video games studio, to overseeing a digital fabrication lab, to hosting community-involved puppet shows, to directly supporting more than 50 people through one of the biggest transitions of their lives as a resident assistant (all while achieving Dean’s Highest Honors each semester), Persephone is ambitious, a tireless worker, and a creative powerhouse in any situation.
Outside of their creative practice, Persephone is an expert roller skater, lives with whimsy, and is an aspiring accordion player.
Persephone is driven by impact, making meaningful contributions within their community, and building relationships. Their strong internal drive to improve and grow allows them to do all of this and more, by pushing them to develop the tools and skills necessary to shape their artistic practice into a wonderful, whimsical amalgamation of creation. At the end of the day, Persephone is constantly working towards bringing a bit of whimsical fun into everyday life with their art.
